This show is a must-see for all kids six and up, and younger kids could see it. Six and up is just for those protective parents. Regular show teaches great lessons and mordecai and benson are two great role models. The show has fighting, but is not too violent. This show has no sexual things in it, it does not say bad words. Literally the worst thing in regular show is when the guy renamed himself Butcheeks. This show is great and teaches good life lessons. It also has strange parts like giant magical babies, so it helps encourage creativity and build imagination as well.
Had useful details 1. Read my mind. Adult Written by Milkman Bandit January 11, Other people on here plain out lie about the show. For example there is no scenes of drinking at all only soda. If this show had alcohol it would be taken down from CN for adult content. Sure there is some adult jokes now and then but every show has them. There IS things such as fantasy violence, punching kicking and some minor words such as stupid, and idiot but only an overprotective parent would worry about minor things such as that.
Also in almost every episode it has some sort of Life lesson that I really enjoy and that personally I know parents like, such as your mom has great advice and stuff like that. Adult Written by Cloudy December 12, Could be fine, depending on the child. We watch this show as a family with a 6 and a 9 year old. There is some cartoon violence but nothing disturbing. I won't let my kids watch those shows. Regular Show is a lot milder than those.
There is no vulgarity, drinking, or cartoon sex like you would see in those other adult cartoons. They kinda allude to drinking beer, but they drink soda. Plus all the characters are adults. Adult Written by Ethan July 28, Really Good for Cartoon Network I think this show is great. It carries a TV-PG rating for suggestive humor and mild language. There are a lot of innuendos, but most kids 13 and up will get the jokes. There is a running gag that the "soda" is obviously beer there is evidence of this in the way the characters act after drinking the "soda.
Adult Written by Al Jackson April 15, First off, there is no beer drinking. Though there was one time where Mordecai passes out after drinking a lot of soda. Yes,there is some cussing like sucks, crap, pisses, screwed, ect. So I recommend Regular Show. Adult Written by Ikonkwo April 12, More like regular trash or a regular no One of the worst cartoons to ever come to american television.
This type of show should have never come to existence. The jokes and the plot is boring, and all of the characters are awkward and have annoying voices. Rigby and Mordecai sound like a bunch of dimwits that make unusual, weird loud noises the majority of a lot of episodes over something that's not so exciting. I bet they can do it everyday and every night all the freaking time. I honestly don't get the logic of how some people find this funny or not be bothered by this. This is an embarrassment and a disappointment to classic television.
One of the most stupidest characters ever. They definitely need help. Regular Show , now in its eighth and final season, follows mega-slackers Mordecai the bluejay voiced by series creator J.
Quintel and Rigby the raccoon William Salyers on their jobs as park groundskeepers. Outside of the fact that they're animals, Mordecai and Rigby are pretty typical guys of a certain age 23 : They play video games, watch B-movies, and improvise absurd raps about everything from keyboards to clocks to hummus.
The other characters are just as ridiculous, filling out the other archetypes you would expect in a workplace comedy, including the good-natured, simple, lollipop-headed Pops, park boss and gumball machine Benson, and gruff handyman Skips—a yeti voiced by Mark Hamill.
View Iframe URL. Mordecai and Rigby's immaturity is a perfect fit for Regular Show interest in the s: Their totally awesome, slacker approach to life finds its outlet in the primitive video games they play, the cheesy horror movies they watch, and the rocking music they listen to—essentially, they're creatures of slick, '80s excess without any of the attendant moral rot, capitalist decay, or cocaine abuse.
But while the show wears its influences on its sleeve how could it try to hide them, when its earliest episodes include a gigantic, villainous cell phone and a dojo where martial arts are based solely on wearing mullets? The medium of animation is a help here, transforming what would ordinarily be signs of sleaziness, or at least the wear of time keytars, ninja shoes, VHS tapes, enormous desktop computers into outlandish symbols of cool. Trying to pull off intense shoulder pads might look lame in a live-action show, depending on the acting and production design, but it's hard not to be taken in by the way they fit with the blocky shapes that make up the park.
This is a world that includes a douchey biker gang of unicorns, a pack of baby ducks who can morph into a robot, and an epic band called Fist Pump. Arcade games transform into giant robots. Guitars summon rock gods. Ever since its first episode, the series has been embraced by fans and praised by critics, largely because of its conversational pacing and its delightful middle school rock drawing-esque animation. Rigby and Mordecai are certainly not career-driven.
That being said, the show is never hostile to its working conditions. The laughs are rung not just from the bizarre situation, but also from the very relatable conflict feeling betrayed by our friend. The show makes great use of music. Regular Show is chaotic, then, but a good chaotic. Due to them both being Cartoon Network shows, and them both being insanely popular, Regular Show will probably always be a follow up question to Adventure Time and, depending on which has prompted the conversation, Adventure Time will be for Regular Show , too.
