Killswitch engage why did jesse leave

I won't be satisfied until I die. Leach is working on a solo record, and fronts the band the Empire Shall Fall. He just closed the book on post-KsE outfit Seemless , and has a project coming out next year with Killswitch guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz called Times of Grace. Leach said his only regret, maybe, was how he left the band But all the wounds are healed, everything's fine, and we have mad love for each other. But I think, just for peace of mind, if I had any regrets, it would be how I left.

I look at the band now, and I don't even think twice. And I'd text him back and forth. When we first started becoming friends, it was constant texting back and forth, just fast friends.

And we've let it settle. We both got busy, basically. I've got a lot of respect and love for the dude, and he's an incredible vocalist — period. I think he's just killing it, man. Leach added: "I think it's important for the fans to know that there's no bad blood [between the band and Howard ] anymore. Name a band that's really done that. There's so much bullshit.

People allow the drama and all that shit to get in the way. Who cares what people think? I don't give a shit anymore. And I'm happy to have Howard jump on stage with us and tour with us with his new band. And the guys had their issues too — let's be real.

It wasn't me at first. I'm, like, 'I don't care. I'm just happy to be out here doing this. Enter Adam Dutkiewicz, who, as well as playing guitar in Killswitch, is the producer of Atonement. Having helmed multiple records featuring Jesse, Adam has long been respectful of giving the singer space when he works, having had enough years to come to appreciate the process. This time, however, Adam sensed something was amiss. I put so much pressure on myself. I get by with a little help from my friends, as they say.

One of those friends was Howard Jones, who had replaced him as Killswitch vocalist in until his own departure in No two people, surely, could understand the other better, having been pitted against one another by fans and the media alike, and both experiencing periods of poor mental health. Through shared experiences, good and bad, with friends old and new, Jesse has reached a place where he can head his demons off at the pass. Sick and tired of Thriller?
